A bit of background…

I would like to formally thank Dr. Tait of the ‘Fountain of Life’ clinic in Queensland , Australia who was indispensable in administering Ukrain therapy to my Mum when she was in the final stages of ovarian cancer. Although not the only treatment administered, the Ukrain was responsible for the elimination of Ruth’s liver and lung metastasize according to the unsubstantiated, anecdotal evidence of actually being there myself and seeing the ongoing test results.

The Courier Mail newspaper on Saturday March 12, 2005 reported the following:

POLICE and Queensland Health this week raided a Gold Coast doctor who is charging $8000 for a Mexican drug claimed to control cancer.

Queensland Health had previously warned there was no scientific or medical evidence that laetrile, also known as vitamin B17 and amygdalin, was effective treating cancer.

A Queensland Health spokesman yesterday confirmed it executed a search warrant on Michael Tait’s surgery, the ‘Doctor’s House’, at Arundel on Tuesday.

The spokesman said material was retrieved as part of the search but he declined to elaborate.

The raid was in response to a complaint, and pertains to the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996.

Dr. Tait was unable to be contacted.

And this leads us on to the broader problem of suppression and persecution by vested interest groups that cash up our fat bureaucrats.
