Dodgy Deals
This issue’s Dodgy Doings is centred on one of the dodgiest yet unknown deals of the modern era. Setting the Scene
The information in this article comes from the classic book you’ve never heard of, World Without Cancer by G. Edward Griffin. A bit about G: Mr. Griffin is an award winning writer and documentary film producer renowned for his investigation of difficult topics including international banking, terrorism, U.S foreign policy, taxation and archaeology. He is also good looking if you like bearded men such as Gandalf.
The Players
You’ve heard of Bristol Myers, Bayer and various other drug companies. But just like the mother Alien in Aliens there has been a far larger, uglier, meaner beast hidden away in a veil of mucous ridden secrecy that gets very angry when disturbed. And just like mummy Alien trying to do deal with Ripley, this beast has been doing deals with all the other big boys in the galaxy. It had spread its operations to ninety-three countries and was a powerful economic and political force on all continents. It was known as I.G. Farben.”
From DuPont, Ford Motor Corp and Alcoa all the main players came to do deals with I.G. In fact there were so many companies that signed up with the devil…
“It would take over an hour to read aloud the names of the companies around the world with which it (I.G Farben) had interlocking cartel agreements.”
