The Big Pharma Boys are caught Red-handed

Let me apologise in advance for not writing about the hidden political deals and money making associated with the Bird Flu myth. The link below came across my desk only days ago and I thought it important enough to take pride of place in this edition of Dodgy Doings.

With the recent death of my Mum from cancer, stories exposing the evil of big pharma in relation to this disease tend to hit a bit of a nerve. As you are no doubt aware there are many different conventional and alternative therapies used to combat this disease which can now only be referred to as an epidemic. Only 50 years ago 1 in a hundred people got cancer. It’s now 1 in 3 and by 2020 it is estimated that 1 in every 1 male will fall prey this disease. That’s right; if you don’t walk in front of a bus or fall down a mineshaft you’ll get cancer.

It is discussed on many creditable forums and a multitude of web sites, books and movies talk about the politics of disease. Disease is business and sick people are the marketplace. If you’re well then you no longer represent yourself as a customer. Like all good businesses, pharma seeks to expand its market, not only its market share. That means more sick people. One of the ways to ensure the size of the market is to make sure no real solutions are offered. This can mean that solutions are suppressed or even destroyed. The best book I’ve read (previously mentioned on this site) on the politics of cancer is G. Edward Griffin’s World Without Cancer. Be warned, it is very disturbing and will challenge your worldview in many respects. Below is an excerpt from Griffin’s book as found in a link on Webster Kehr’s www.cancertutor.com.
