Just a short note to the newest Dodgy Doings. Before I went to medical school I studied modern history for some time and I stumbled across the I.G. Farben stuff too. What is frightening is not that this happened, but that it is still going on. I started medical school with a lot of expectations and I have to admit illusions. If you work with cancer patients (and I do) and you see how they are treated with chemotherapy that in late stages of the disease is sometimes (!) just given in order to acquire scientific data or get some more money from the health insurance... with no clear concept for the patient behind it...

Please get me right: I know that most doctors would do anything to really help their patients and that they have only the best intentions. Nevertheless is the motor behind modern medicine (our emphasis) money? That has never led to anything good. You can think whatever you want about Cuba but their doctors are the best in the world in terms of knowing what helps and not what pays.

Keep on opening our eyes!

Well you’ve gone and done it now Marc. You’ve asked for more on Knowda’s favourite subject, what’s really going on. Unfortunately, the subject is extremely large and so we’ll be taking small chunks and presenting them one at a time. Some topics may seem irrelevant but rest assured there is a vast interplay of vested interests at work here with a shadowy history.
