Drink Water

In the mid 1990's F. Batmanghelidj, MD came out with a book entitled 'Your Body's Many Cries for Water'. The main points can be summed up with the following quotes from Batman's book;
"You are not sick, you are thirsty!" and "Chronic cellular dehydration painfully and prematurely kills. Its outward manifestations have until now been labeled as diseases of unknown origin".

According to Batman, if you want to lose weight, drink water. Water is the primary ingredient in fat metabolism. I'm afraid Diet Coke won't do it. If you don't want asthma, drink water. You get the picture.

I drink 4-8 litres of filtered water every day. I initially went to the toilet more often than my Grandmother but over time, and I mean at least 6 months, my body started to use the water I was pouring in. Some people swell up as their body holds the water but doesn't know what to do with it. Most people just go to loo, a lot. Trust me though it's worth it. No more back pain, reflux or headaches. I wouldn't suggest such a massive intake of water though unless you're training hard. For people that lead relatively sedentary lifestyles I'm sure 2 litres would be a good start.
