Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide - it's the stuff you put in your hair to bleach it right? Or according to the general definition, "A viscous liquid with strong oxidizing properties; a powerful bleaching agent; also used as a disinfectant and (in strong concentrations) as an oxidant in rocket fuels."

Well, yes - one of the many applications of hydrogen peroxide is cosmetic, and yes, in its most pure form, it is an oxidant in rocket fuels, but far more importantly, it has a role in preventing disease and in all the metabolic functions of the body. Far from being a poison, it is one of the most life sustaining chemicals on earth.

Hydrogen peroxide should, technically,
