How long have you been doing brutal training?
I've been training for nearly one year now.
How did you get involved in Brutal?
My roommates at the time were being trained by Rich Coles and Mike Croxford, and towards the end of last season, Rich wanted to start up some general fitness training. None of them wanted to do it except for one girl and she didn't want to do it by herself. So I said I would do the training with her. So I started up to Brutal with Rich.
Shortly after, Rich and Mike went to Sydney and your friend stopped. But you continued. Why?
There was about a one-month gap after they left where there was nothing structured that I was doing. I found it really hard to start of with, to get out and do a session (by myself). Not only that, but to plan a session and actually get all the way though it and finish everything you've decided you're going to do before hand. But I found that I got a lot more out of it than I did when somebody else was training me because I was totally pushing myself the whole way. I think the reward I got out of that, knowing that it was all coming from me, and something within me just said; "Yeah I'm on the right track with this, I want to keep going with this".
So I started stalking Haydn to get back into it and to get more training. That's when I started doing the Dynamic Athletic Training on Wednesday nights.
