How long have you been training with Haydn?
I've had four training sessions with Haydn over about five weeks.
Why did you want to start training with him?
I guess just for a different experience.
Did you have any apprehension or preconceived ideas of what the training would be?
The idea I had of the training was, "brutal training", so something a bit more hardcore than what I've done in the past. That's the kind of training I was hoping for and what I think I like, rather than some other training that just isn't hard enough.
I also think I do it for fitness. The fitter I am or the stronger I am, the better I feel about myself. Personally, I get more confident. There's a lot psychological stuff to training. The training helps from a beach volleyball perspective, but it's helping me more on an all over level. I see his training as mental as well as physical. Kind of getting over your fears, beating the limitations you've set for yourself.
