Benjamin Hoff starts his book off by proclaiming that Winnie the Pooh – the books written by A.A Milne – in fact draw major references to the belief of Taoism, created by ancient philosopher Lao-Tse, mainly through his book the Tao Te Ching. Taoism is in essence about listening to the Universe, letting it guide you through each moment without interference. His belief is that it is our interference in things that takes us away from Tao (Universal Principles). This is really what we discuss throughout the Blood, Sweat and Coffee articles, that of being in a state of ‘no mind’.
