One Breakfast, One Life

One ArrowIn the review section this month we thought we’d try to review the perfect big breakfast; poached eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, capsicum, onion, sourdough toast with avocado spread; aahhhh, sounds like ecstasy. In order for it to come out just right cooking it becomes an art form. You’ll need two fry pans, one saucepan and a toaster all working together to produce that idyllic big breakfast we all salivate over after a solid training session. Timing is everything and, as we talk about when making coffee, doing it all in correct function is a must.

Okay, enough of me pretending that I know how to conjure up that perfect breaky. If I only had one chance to make the perfect breaky, I reckon I’d perform pretty damn well, but there’s many out there that could perform better. Whilst on this train of thought though I recalled a book I read a while ago, one that H recommended to me when I started getting into the mind side of Brutal Training, a book that talks about being ready to take that one shot, as you generally only get one shot at things. That book is One Arrow, One Life by Kenneth Kushner. So instead of reviewing the perfect big breakfast let’s review the perfect reading to do whilst eating that almost perfect big breakfast. Let’s look at One Arrow, One Life a bit closer.
