Practice can make perfect…

This month’s review has gone back to the wonderful world of literature, a book written early in the 20 th century. It is Precision Billiards by R.M Geyer, the amateur billiards champion of India . This would be where you ask, “What the &#$% are you reviewing a book on billiards for?” That is a fair question and if you continue to read past that remark you will realize that even a book on billiards can be fundamental to training not because we all love a good game of pool after a few beers, but because of the way R.M Geyer goes about his training. You see whilst practice after practice can make you better, it is the way he trains his mind that makes his practice ‘perfect’ and it is in this that everybody training for anything can learn from this book.
