Pulling a Partner

This edition’s Snake and Ladder is a favourite snake of mine, the sand drag. Here’s how it works.

Find a nice, long stretch of beach and convince your mate it’s time to go get some sun. When you get there have them lie out their towel, put on their tanning oil and become nice and relaxed. Just when they’re dozing off you start your exercise. Grab both their legs and drag them along the sand as far as you can!

Seriously now, here’s how we work it.

- Have one person lying back down on the sand.

- Facing away from them, pick them up by their feet and drag them along the sand as far as you can.

- When you can’t go any further swap roles and head back.

- Do this as many times as you can (at least ten times each).

The great thing about this work out is your partner can add/decrease resistance as you go by doing the following (see video below).
