Snatch and Skip
Welcome. If you were searching these words hoping for some porno story then I suggest you leave now! This edition’s S&L is another ladder, this one being a little different to the norm. Here we go.
Before we specify what is actually in the ladder we better make sure you understand the movements involved.
One-armed Snatch Lift – Grab a dumbbell and place it on the ground, standing one foot either side of it, shoulder width apart. Squat down grabbing the dumbbell in one hand and using the entire body “throw” the weight up above your head whilst you still hold onto it. It is an explosive movement and your finishing position should be standing up straight, dumbbell still in the one hand above your head.
Shoulder Press – Grab two dumbbells, on in either hand. From a standing position have arms bent and 90 just above shoulder height. From here press the weight above your head til your arms are straight.
