A Snake’s Medicine

Right, it’s time for another snake! All you need is a suitably weighted medicine ball (5kgs is good for me) and a lot of room in front of you.

The drill is very simple.

Standing at one end of the park/beach/whatever, squat down with the medicine ball between your legs and explosively throw it in the air slightly forward but as high as you can. Move forward and catch it before it lands, making sure you absorb the impact by having supple joints. Do this repeatedly until you get to the end of your area, the time you spend on this drill depends on you but if you’re not totally destroyed afterwards you haven’t gone hard enough.
