3 Way Ab Bash
This is truly one of the most Brutal abdominal exercises to come out of Brutal Training. It is a combination of ab exercises that hits high and low and keeps the pressure on. Here’s how it works:
• Begin laying down with your hands resting on your abs
• Perform a leg raise – keep your legs perfectly straight (no knee bend) and keep your hands on your abs
• Try to keep your feet slightly apart – this makes the leg raise even more difficult
• Lower the leg raise down but do not let your feet touch the ground
• From this position perform an accordion crunch where both knees and torso meet in the middle – you must not leave your back on the ground
• Return to the extended leg position but again, do not let your feet touch the ground
• Now perform a V-sit (or V-snap as we like to call them)
• Return your legs to the extended position again without touching the ground
• That’s one rep
It may not appear like much of a snake in terms of time spent, but if you perform 20 reps of this exercise with good form and no resting or putting your legs down, the pain you experience will make this an exercise you’ll never forget. See if you can do 10. If so, 20 is a great performance.
